The All Progressives Congress (APC), has taken steps to authorize any part discovered behind legal dispute against the National overseer board.

Mr Tunde Balogun, the APC Chairman, Lagos State Chapter, gave the admonition in an announcement on Saturday.

“We have seen a report in a national newspaper that a purported APC member in Lagos State had instituted a case at a Federal High Court against the party’s National Caretaker Committee.

“We believe the person who instituted the suit is not a member of our party because it is highly doubtful that a bona-fide party member in Lagos in good standing will initiate such an action. We will, however, investigate the matter.

“Here, I want to reiterate the stance of the APC in Lagos. No party member should file a court action regarding the recent National Executive Committee meeting of the party in Abuja.

“(This is) particularly if that person has not even sought to initiate internal conflict resolution processes to resolve any dispute he may have with the NEC decisions,” he said.

The chairman said filing any such legitimate activity is plainly against the soul and letters of the gathering’s constitution.

Balogun noticed that the determination against organization of any legal dispute by any part was in consonance with the constitution of the gathering.

He said that Lagos APC would not choose to disregard the mocking of the constitution in such way.

According to him, we are attempting to reestablish request and propriety to the gathering and in this way no part should try to plant disarray.

Balogun said that any gathering part associated with the organization of any such case ought to pull back the case from court forthwith.

He said that inability to do so will expose that party part to sanctions identified in the constitution, which may incorporate suspension or removal.

Balogun said that no gathering could thrive when individuals occupied with establishing pointless legal disputes for the sole motivation behind causing disunity and disturbance.

He said that the activity was a demonstration of gross indiscipline which couldn’t be continued and would not be permitted.
