Fireboy DML Desires Freedom On New Oriental Classic Single ‘Eli’ – Listen To the song

Fireboy DML’s post debut album world is a dimension characterized by a different sound bordering on a dynamic fusion of Afropop and other undistinguishable sounds and emboldened by the heavy success of his album Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps.

Fireboy DML dropped a fresh single “ELI“ off his upcoming sophomore album “Apollo” releasing later next month.“ELI” is a smooth mid-tempo track that is carried by an Asian inspired flute and rounded out with an electric guitar giving an unexpected edge, unlike your typical Afrobeats flow.

Fireboy, who is known to stand out, toggles between a soft, soothing beat and experimental elements lending to a new modern sound that emphasizes his vocal strength.

This dimension played host to his first post-album single, New York City Girl and on his latest, Eli, he continues down the same path.

This new record is an impressive Afro-fusion genre delivered by Fireboy, And was produced by Pheelz and reminiscent of his focus on the characteristics of his muse onNew York City Girl‘.

“Eli is a flute-y ode to a woman who has him bound in a chaotic relationship with her wiles and despite his desire for freedom, his relaxed demeanor, evidenced in his methodic delivery proves otherwise.

As with the video for, Fireboy explores oriental art on Eli, wielding a Flute-y instrument as his weapon of choice to battle his muse and captivate his listeners.

As the chorus echoes “Save me, save me from Delilah”, he is intrigued and hypnotized by this woman unlike any other and continues to anticipate her return as the tempo rises.
